  • Can someone please explain why "double jeopardy"
doesn't apply in this case? Two trials gone bad.
How is it that the lawyers defending these men don't claim "double jeopardy" or if that isn't applicable not counter sue the federal government for wrongful imprisonment, politicaly motivated charges, and anything else that will stick?

Rove can railroad the Gov. of Alabama into jail, out and American spy in time of war, fire Fed. Prosecutors for political motives and manipulate elections by blocking phone lines and is walking free and getting published in the WSJ editoral pages.

Is this the America we envisioned living in? When the real criminals have their hands at the highest levels of power and the poorest and weakest of us are used and abused with total disregard for civility and decency?

  • Now God wants you to enjoy your private parts, really she/he does.

What God isn't keen on is destroying other people's lives to cover your own errors, and breaking any oath you've taken to uphold the law and be of service to your fellow (Wo)man without personal profit or gain.

America is getting smarter at seeing crap like this for what it is.

Now Kilpatrick listen as God is coming through again, own up to it, step down, pay whatever punishment is handed to you and allow your city to heal.

  • Ref: President's right to privacy and the public's right to access

We, the American people own the W.H., bought by the blood of every American that has laid their life down, from the the American revolution to the misbegotten Iraq war.
The President is in service to we the people. We have every right to know who is entering and leaving our house.

Law in America is based on previous laws. If we had access to logs during Clinton's terms than, we have the right to acess the same logs now. Why are these judges so eager to change a standing law now? We don't have to compromise and give the most powerful man in the USA more power. We have to keep in check.

Imagine the reaction if Pres. Hillary Clinton takes this stand!?! Rush, Murdoch's bozs at Fox, and Kristol frothing at the mouth!

  • What everyone is missing in this story is the sex scandal.

These young man obtained access to the contract and were awarded it because they were
providing sexual favors to the men in charge of the contract and awarding it to them.

Why hasn't one reporter covering this story questioned the "nature of the access" these young men had to the government? It isn't "so mysterious" once you realize the connection.

As we know this administration is riddled with
connections to male sex workers and has given them access in the past.
    In case you forgot:
    Gannon at DC press meetings.
"Minister Male prostitue/Meth user meeting with Bush every Tuesday for "spiritual direction".
The triple suicide/murder in FL. with Gonzales a Rep.operative.
Ex-Marine Ex- male porn star being the poster boy
    for the illegal war.

Come on TPMers start digging, ask the right questions and blow this case wide open! You can do it.
