  • Thanks again Schumer. Suppose the AG had anything to do with the "fuck you and the horse you rode in on" attitude regarding Gitmo?

Conyers, let's subpoena Treasury. You see how far that's getting you.

Obama, can you defend this assault on America?

Pelosi, impeachment off the table? Sure showed them you were willing to cooperate.

    Rockefeller, fuck you!

  • As I posted previously. Not another Congressional subpoena! Oh my what is a president, scratch that, AG to do. Oh I know. Tell them to f-off and grow some balls.

Have Schumer and Feinstein deliver it. They helped push the creep into Justice.

  • People such as RenStimpy and Joe Lieberman are sincerely concerned that the true nature and extent of US aid to Israel will be revealed. Once that happens the true block on Middle East peace will be exposed for what it is. At the risk of being accused of being Anti-Semite I am tired of our government being a branch of the Knesset. We already have one senator that has pulled a Zel Miller so he could continue to represent Israel. They are shaking in their boots at the possibility of business in Washington not being done as usual.

  • A bit off topic but was brought up in an earlier comment above. In the general election debates I would like someone to ask both of these candidates this question. If anybody in the Bush administration, including the former president and vice president, are brought up on war crimes charges will either candidate do anything to block them from standing trial?

  • To quote the Times, "The emphasis on spy programs also is starting to give pause to some members of Congress who fear the government is investing too much in anti-terrorism programs at the expense of traditional crime-fighting. Other lawmakers are raising questions about how well the FBI is performing its counter-terrorism mission."

One has to, in my opinion, take a leap of faith to believe that the spying is for anti-terrorism and not to help create a permanent conservative majority in our government.

Bush is too stupid to use any intelligence gathered to fight terrorism. As evidenced in the Times article. The rest of the administration is hellbent on staying in power.

  • With all due respect Sen. Reid I wish you'd throw your "considerable weight' behind not letting the telcos and Bush spy on us. You need to keep you eye on the current president and let us keep an eye on the candidates.

  • While either candidate would be better than anything Republican Hillary and Bill need to pack it in. They are acting selfishly and not in the best interests of this country. Michigan and Florida decided to piss their votes down their leg. The only people interested in a do over are the Clintons. Hillary, you lost and you have no right to claim foul now. You are behaving as if it was your destiny to be the next president. In case you haven't figured it out we are sick of Washington's "business as usual" and you are one of the prime examples. You are not entitled to anything. These are not offices for life. We don't want more of the same. Seeing the folks on the podium with you in Iowa after your defeat was scary. The same old Washington playerz.
