Relying on the top tier of private schools creates a subtle and insidious class bias in our government which reinforces the cluelessness of Washington culture.
No, it doesn't. As a law school student myself-- far removed from the Ivys-- I want my government stacked with the best and the brightest, and I assure you they come from the prestigious schools. That does not create a class bias, just an intelligence bias, one which I would hope all Americans would appreciate-- we WANT the intellectual elite running our government, not some dumb ass who never amounted to anything except what mommy and daddy handed him.Posted at June 24, 2008 11:44 AM in response to Today's Must Read

Please exaplain to me, with facts, how that statement makes him unfit for the presidency. Random, stupid comments do not work on a website used by THINKING people, who demand more than just bluffery and empty rhetoric.
dickhead.

As someone who grew up in the Church, I was exposed to James Dobson about 15 years ago, at the age of 13. I laughed at his stupid ass then, and I am sad that he has grown to what he is today. Does he, or any of his followers, work on a Sunday? Does he know, or is he friends with, anyone who has ever had a divorce? Does he own any clothing made from more than one type of fabric (i.e. any clothing that is not "100% cotton")? Because, if so, he is violating the rules of the bible, all of which state the above are un-godly.
Seriously, James Dobson, what an asshole. Even Jesus would back us up on this one, I think.Posted at June 24, 2008 10:05 AM in response to Election Central Morning Roundup

Stupid fucking elitists and their ability to actually spot a stupid idea and coherently and rationally explain why it's a bad idea. Who wants them running the government? Geez.

GOD.FUCKING.DAMN IT.
Seriously. Fuck, fuck, fuck. It is so disheartening to even look at this evil fucker's face, let alone know all the bullshit he is up to. I cannot being to even articulate my hatred of this evil asshole (hence the profanity above). My only hope is that W's religious beliefs are at least somewhat true-- this guy will be cookin' and crispy about 2 seconds after he passes away.

You know, conservative Christians are always deploring science and rational thought because it teaches that "there are no absolutes". But, every time it comes to torture, the govt these jokers love has NO absolutes at all-- 'Well,uh, sometimes it's okay. It's never always wrong, but sometimes it can be.' Equivocating the whole way. What a bunch of hypocrites.
