  • Hillary's numbers apparently do include the zero for Michigan for Obama. It also ignors the four caucus states that didn't do popular vote counts (IA, NV, WA and ME)

  • The poll about popular vote versus pledged delegates shows that most participants don't understand the process. Four states simply do not have popular votes to report (WA, IA, NV and ME). Furthermore, much as Clinton likes to claim that those who didn't vote in caucus states would have voted for her, the absurdity of counting Utah as three times the weight of Maine is breathtaking.

Apparently Charlie Gibson wasn't shaped by any journalistic experience. But then maybe he's just a script reader. I'm not really an insider. I just think they might find moderators with a different set of priorities.

  • If a candidate raises 237 million dollars, how much influence can you buy for 2.26 million. 1) Did the 38 bundlers have a common cause? 2) What would we learn if someone reported that he received more money from people with foot fetishes?

  • Didn't a pro-Hillary group get into trouble for running an ad just like this? I thought they were not allowed to implicitly endorse a candidate.

  • I can't get terribly excited about this absenteeism for two reasons. 1) It's important for Presidential candidates to actually make contact with voters. It is a vital part of democracy. I don't want people voting based on what CNN says or how many yard signs they see. 2) A non-vote is a NO vote. Since in almost all cases the Republicans have been on the "anti" side of votes this year, to actually fly back to DC to cast a NO is merely symbolic and a huge waste of fuel.

  • If the media were truly as anti-Clinton as some think, they might focus similar attention on Christopher Korge, one of the Clinton fund-raisers from FL who threatened to ask for his DNC contributions back if FL delegates are not seated. They would report that "A 2002 Miami-Dade Office of the Inspector General (OIG) report concluded that minority involvement in the deal was ‘neither real, meaningful, nor legitimate’.”

They would report that his cousin, Alex Dauod, a former mayor of Miami Beach was sent to prison for 18 months for bribery, obstruction of justice, and tax evasion. After getting out of prison, he wrote a book claiming he protected Korge from similar charges.
