The ass-residuals have been tiding me over since my Hillary defender subsidies were cutoff in June :D
Quinn you are not yet qualified to teach the How To Be A Super Asshat. I checked our Canadian ass-conversion chart and right now you are only at the Ass-Mountie level. Impressive for a Candaian but in America, that's equivalent to a cuddly puppy. You have miles to go before you achieve Asshelmet-in-Chief status.

What would be more helpful is to have the candidate speaking to that group directly which he STILL has not done. Just sends Hillary out. The folks that are going to vote for Obama because Hillary supports him are already won. Until Obama himself starts campaigning for their votes, there is very little else Hillary can do to brign the rest home.
In the very simplest terms, who really respects a guy that sends his wingman over to hit on a girl? Obama needs to step up to the plate instead of lounging in the background cooly waiting for his Hillary to bring him the votes of Hillary supporters that are still up for grabs.

Hillary to save the day as always! I think Obama is eying her for Secretary of Women in his Administration. Any issues relating to women he won't touch...Hillary is expected to handle it.
Quit hiding behind her skirts. Obama and his campaign didn't have any issues attacking Hillary. Why should they have any qualms about going after Palin?
Sheesh.

Those ass-residual checks have been tiding me over since I lost my Hillary defender subsidies :D Thanks as always for your support!
PS. I checked your progress and it appears you are at an Ass-Mountie level on the Canadian charts. On the American charts that's equivalent to a cuddly puppy. You have much more work to do if you want to strive for Asshelmet-in-Chief status.

Their way is to smear and ridicule and belittle and attack.
Did you see the commentary directed at Palin before she even said a word at the convention? That about sums it up. We made their way our way and resorted to a campaign of negativism rather than the change and hope that are the themes of Obama's campaign. So she spent her introduction speech responding to the attacks on experience to the detriment of Obama. Obama doesn't win the experience battle and we on the Left were stupid enough to hand her some solid body blows.
So Palin established last night that yes, she is a credible candidate for VP and a dangerous one at that. But where do we go from here? Will we focus on real policies and issues like economics and healthcare or more slander and personal attacks? If this is a character/experience election we will lose and I fear that's where we are heading if people don't wake up and focus on the real issues.
And if you want to question whether taking the high road and relentless focusing on issues in the face of character attacks works, look no further than the last democratic president.

The GOP is not stupid. Palin gave them their only chance to be competitive and match Obama's star power. The democrats were stupid enough to question her on experience having been a mayor and governor and she hit back - hard - on Obama's experience. The GOP fundraising is going to go through the roof and the Palin bounce is on the way (minus any serious screwups by McCain).
Ouch. That hurt. But maybe it knocked some sense into those who were diminishing and ridiculing Palin since her announcement. She's a force to be reckoned with and I look forward to the VP debate to see who can out-snide the other between her and Biden without coming off as a total asshat.
