  • What I see in this thread is the damage done, again, by the Clinton's insatiable lust for power, overblown egotism and complete lack of respect for the American people. The childish ranting back and forth here between supporters exemplifies the divisive conditions within the party. Here is one issue that has been ignored but is the basis for my personal rejection of Hillary to lead the country. Bill Clinton disgraced and dishonored the Office of the President. His immature, unprincipled and selfish behavior disgraced the Democratic Party and gave the Republicans everything they needed to take the White House with a dimwitted, disfunctional and illiterate candidate. I am not forgetting the Supreme Court and illegal election tactics either. Hillary "forgave" Bill and remained married to him. That choice disqualifies her and her horny husband from ever stepping into the Oval Office again. Period. But no, Hillary thinks we should forget the shame and disgrace and support her and her husband and give them another crack at the prize. For all of the Clinton supporters, it was not "just about sex." The ensuing damage to the Democratic Party was irreparable and led to the catastrophic conditions we now live in. The Clintons have shown their true character, or lack thereof, over and over. Her mindless, self centered and destructive words and actions have proven she does not have the will of the people in her vocabulary. The ridiculous idea that Bill Clinton would EVER be allowed anywhere near the White House let alone live there goes against any sense of fairness, justice and respect. Sorry Hillary, it IS over but you don't seem to have any respect for the Office, the American people or America's political history to do the right thing. Go back to your adopted state of NY with your husband and begin your plot to bring Obama down or whatever selfish thing you desire. Please, just go away.

  • Erik Prince must be observed and his activity followed very closely. There are many other security companies competing for the billions of dollars in play within the newly created "Homeland Security" business. I think the most serious issue is the Christian Warrior ethos that is the primary focus of
a significant percentage of these newly formed private armies. The U.S. military has been busy promoting Christianity as the ultimate sword for every soldier, pilot and seaman. The Air Force might as well be called Airmen for Jesus. Freedom from religion no longer exists there. And the other branches are not far behind. Religion used as a rallying force for militarism has never had a happy ending. Blackwater must be held responsible for the Sept. 16th murders as well as many similar, unreported crimes. Just because the Bush Justice Dept. has been corrupted does not mean a new Justice Dept. under new management cannot prosecute these war crimes. Blackwater will disappear without government contracts. That would be a very good thing.
