I think jaycal makes an important point here. McCain claims his military service qualifies him for being the chief executive of the United States Government. And General Clarke caught all kinds of blow back by point out the basic fact that McCain's military experience is rather lacking in filling the military roles that do require executive skills. Here we have his attempt to put together an organization, his campaign, and he fails miserably. And the judgment is from none other than the Republican establishment. They have in effect told McCain he does not know what he is doing and you had better let us put someone in there who knows what they are doing.

In case you don't recognize this it is from the United States Constitution. And, even a republican cannot get away with equating selective prosecution with "equal protection of the laws."

A key thing to remember is the swift boating of Kerry only worked because the media played, replayed, replayed, and replayed the swift boat lies. The swift boaters could never afford the play time that made these work. The truth is that it was the main Stream Media that swift boated Kerry. I think this time, when the media tries this against Obama there will be sufficient outcry and negative reaction to the MSM and their corporate sponsors that the same tactics will not work this time.
