Here's an important point that I haven't seen raised:
Howell claims the Post is in possesion of lists generated by Abramoff telling clients where to send contributions.
From Howell's youa-culpa:
The Post also has copies of lists sent to tribes by Abramoff with his personal directions on which members were to receive what amounts.
Which begs the question: if it proves Howell is correct, that Democrats did indeed get donations at the direction of Abramoff, why hasn't the Post published those lists?
Wouldn't this be the very first thing the Post would have done to deflect the criticism they've rightfully received over this issue? And yet...Howell claims they have these lists - and we should just take her word for it.
