  • McCain carries a "stuck in the headlights" monkey with him wherever he goes (Cindy). And just how much quality TIME does he actually spend with his animals?

This article is irrelevant, because animals cannot vote.

But McCain did pick up a HUGE endorsement (I'm not making this up - it came from the AP wire) from his N. Vietnamese captors who referred to his cooperation during "songbird's" incarceration.

I can see it in the headlines now:
    N. Vietnamese Endorse John "McCollaborating" McCain for President.

    Now that's an endorsement!

I like "ousted" Republican better. Her vote against Senator Webb's veterans' GI bill and then her mea culpa to cover her ass has shown her true colors to the decidely miltary district she represents, or alleges to represent.....

I'm going to work my butt off to send this Bush sycophant back to real estate work.

  • Thabo:

Good post, but you're narrative just confused the hell out of 70% of West Virginians. They don't know what those BIG words mean. Thankfully, you refined your prose in your summation.

    On to the convention..................

Quick, someone turn on the Weather Channel, Hell has obviously frozen over!

Ohio dems have my utmost respect from this Virginia gentleman.

  • Hamas supporting Obama? Hmm, that's interesting, since they really have nothing on him other than his offer to negotiate peace (questionable) in their region.

On the other hand, it has been rumored that Vietnam (more importantly, North Vietnam) supports McCain, as if it wasn't for his collaboration with this former "enemy" he would have never been given the moniker "songbird" by others in the Hanoi Hilton. Ol' Johnny really knows how to sing when "prodded." Apparently, others in his same predicament were able to resist capitulating, but not ol' Johnnny. And you want HIM for a President?

  • So what do we have here now, the Democratic party's own little "Blackwater" economic group, who believe they have a right to muscle (through economic intimidation) Hillary to the nomination through their veiled threats? Please.

I got a better idea; let the whole process play out, then if Hillary doesn't get the MAJORITY of pledged delegates, take your toys and your wallets and go the hell home. Better yet, start your own party. The Republican party has kowtowed and prostituted themselves to corporate extortion and big money for over 25 years. We DO NOT need this type of unscrupulous element in our party.

Many, many people have (and continue to) joined the Democratic party recently to become vocal members of a progressive community demanding absolute change with the "status quo" government destroying our values. Kowtowing to these self-serving, amoral minions of Hillary only continues this disgusting act of entitlement.

At one time, Hillary had my support, but no more. I'm done with her; her lies, distortions, obstructions and outright willful divison and destruction of my party; the party representing "all persons" and not just her disgusting "palm padders." I'm not at all a fan of Pelosi, but I stand with her on this issue. Enough said.

  • I believe the "S" stands for "Songbird." Apparently while incarcerated in the Hanoi Hilton, he allegedly made disparaging remarks about the U.S. and allegedly collaborated with N. Vietnam in producing anti-American propoganda, although it was only shown in N. Vietnam. But the U.S. knew about it and suppressed it. The "songbird" moniker was his given nickname by others in the prison. And he really had it in for post-war POW/MIA accountability groups who wanted American intel on the POWs/MIAs; however, McCain had all POW/MIA records branded as classified, apparently to hide his own scurrilous actions. And he went after those requesting legitimate information. Everybody, determine this for yourself. Go to freedomscribe.com - read the opening - then watch McCain on the videos. This needs to be spread far and wide, to show the "real" John McCain. War Hero? Hmmmm..............
