I wish this reportage would have been done before the first story softballed the facts, but this should be fun to watch if anything further develops.

Now that everything Bloch has touched in the last four years has been sequestered as evidence, I'm sure we'll be able to get to the bottom of this imbroglio in no time at all.

Leisure Guy! I learned my shaving technique from your blog!
Though I'm not colorblind, I can see how that would be a problem, and in fact I believe this is exactly the reason why the oldschool convention of underlining links was implemented. However, like the Schick Dodecaheddro blade vs. the double-edge, you may be inserting yourself in the troublesome zone between form and function. I do believe a lot of browsers let you force underlines for all links, though.

It is a Class I felony in North Carolina "to misrepresent the law to the public through mass mailing or any other means of communication where the intent and the effect is to intimidate or discourage potential voters from exercising their lawful right to vote."
I imagine this is what is animating Podesta to be up front in supplying his own CYA:
As a board member, I was aware of the general parameters of the group's voter registration program, but not the details of its execution.
A curious distancing by Mr. Podesta.

So you'll probably be incensed to find out that they're not going to call the people back who received the call to tell them they can ignore it.

What's the McCain campaign going to do about it, sic the FEC on the Internets? In the meantime hopefully the Streisand Effect takes hold.
