Wasn't Zacarias Moussaoui convicted for being the 20th hilacker? This is becoming like the "2nd in command of al QAEDA" being captured/killed. I guess they figure, and probably correctly, that Amurkans are just weary of listening to the bullsh*t they can put any label they want on these people and it will stick. Is Susan Crawford's position a patronage job or civil service? If patronage, did she attend Regent?

What a dispicable, insidious man. A Senator no less. I always expect to see a forked tongue snap out from his mouth like a snake or lizzard when he talks. And what a condescending and patronizing a$$hole. An absolute know it all. He must have had his ass kicked everyday for his lunch money. And he is making up for it now. He wants to take his ball and go home because the Ct. Democrats weren't nice to him. I would rather the Democrats expell him from his chairmanship, let him caucus with the Republicans and turn obstructionists as the Republicans are now. It would be for less than 7mos. And if they are able to win stronger majoritys, make him as insignificant as possible. There are Democrats who still think he is important.

The Chairmen of both Judiciary Committees are becoming if not already, cartoons. "Strongly worded letters, and "toothless subpoenas" are all they do. The recipients just put them in the round file and ignore them. They are too clubby. When the Republicans were in control they put them in the cloakroom and only let them out when it was to their advantage. They are still there. Hell, when was the last time you heard any of them talking about ending the clusterf*ck in Iraq? The only time Iraq is mentioned is when the President has his hand out to feed the war and his cronys. Why were the Democrats put in charge (an oxymoron) last election? I thought it was to end the war. The DOJ hasn't changed with the exception of a smarter, shrewder AG who just flat out tells them no. Hell if they can't straighten out the head of the EPA how the hell could they get anything out of Gates, Rice, Mukasey and the rest. And since the Democrats are so adept at grasping defeat from the jaws of victory, a win at the polls in Nov. is not a "slam dunk." They are working on losing the election as I type this.

More "strongly worded letters?" They will get about as much information as Gonzales and Doan gave them. It gets "pitifuler and pitifuler." It's like the Mickey Rooney movie when he exclaimed,"Hey kids! Lets put on a show!" Conyers is becoming a joke. Leahy on the other side of the building is the same way. They are like the guy who keeps losing money when he knows the crap game is crooked.

Fierst, I will vote for whomever the Democratic nominee is. Second, many people are just waking up to what a racist country we are. Pennsylvania shows that. In the South with larger populations of black voters, Obama wins. This fracture is going to come back to bite the party in November. What is a shame, either Clinton or Obama would/will be a much better President than Mccain. He lost a lot of people with his toddler embrace of Bush on stage at a political rally. The Straight Talk Express had a blowout then. His campaign is becoming incoherent.

What the hell else is there to say about these cretins? As for justice, forget it.

They are taking the time to do it right. RIGHT! Making sure they aren't discovered producing the propaganda for those retired military. It's a pity retired Generals are among the war profiteers keeping the bogus information flowing for their business connections to profit. They weren't trying to end the war but prolong it. Pitiful

I'm waiting for the "strongly worded letter." He could get Leahy to help draft it.

Why are the prosecutors tryingto keep this guy's testimony secret? Because he was an informant? Hell, he has been the news for nefarious dealings for a couple years. They weren't that concerned with keeping Valerie Plame's position secret. And she WORKED FOR US! And she didn't bribe a congressman.

Apparently the "forced abortion show" wasn't scheduled when he was there. Maybe Abramoff didn't have the influence he thought. It seems he could have bribed someone to move the schedule up. I doubt Schaffer would understand what was happening if they hit him in the head with the clots! What a jagoff!
