Can there really be any doubt that having the Clinton 'brand' name was a huge net positive in a Democratic party primary?
Any present diminishment of that 'brand' was wholly at the hands of the Clintons themselves.

NOTHING. I repeat, NOTHING is going to stop Hillary from attempting a convention coup of sorts.
Every single remaining undeclared delegate could declare for Obama on June 4th and she STILL will attempt to overturn the primary result at the convention.

Murdoch obviously knows how to read the leaves in his afternoon tea. I believe that he really does think Obama will win. He is looking for opportunities to politically position himself with the coming Obama administration.
Murdoch further says he looks forward to meeting with Obama - all while his Newscorp(se) minions continue their ugly smears. Obama should reject and denounce.

Agreed. Its sort of like the optimism by Bush that the war would cost $50B, or that we would be treated like liberators.
What worries me a little about McCain is his ability to LIE HIS ASS OFF while expressing total sincerity and conviction. So much so, that I've wondered whether he might actually believe his own bullshit. He did this to Romney during the final Republican debate, and he's starting to do it to Obama.

Yes and here's another novel suggestion - The Clintons can cause the party to lose the GE by taking this battle at the convention.

Yes, stated like a Republican. If you can't attack the message, attack the messenger.

Let us have NO DOUBTS about this. He means that anytime short of the CONVENTION is premature.
