  • How could he "steal the election" by 'not counting Florida and Michigan"? He is ahead even *WITH* Florida and Michigan. The delegates that will be assigned for Florida and Michigan (and there will be a resolution) will be divided up honestly and *FAIRLY*.

You know, you people need to learn how to do MATH, not just repeat and repeat, endlessly, the talking points you hear on the candidate's sound bite on teevee.

  • Don't you just love how this guy always uses the words "That simple"? How dismissive. Just like Dick Cheney. Dick, is that you?

  • you know, I've been reading your comments and just have to post, even tho I am a charter member of the TrollCritic 3000 Foundation. You keep blaming Howard Dean and the Dnc for this idea to sanction the states of FL and MI. Well, Howard Dean had nothing to do with it. The RULES COMMITTEE voted to sanction them and the RULES COMMITTEE is made up of 25 members, 12 of whom are Hillary surrogates. They voted UNANIMOUSLY to sanction the states of FL and MI. Just think, hillary's surrogates on the Rules Committee (many who work on her campaign) voted to DISENFRANCHISE these voters (because she didn't think she would NEED them). So, you are in error in your pronouncements.

You need to educate yourself before you go off with a lot of silly talking points, thinking that everybody else is as lazy and uninformed as yourself. You can fix this problem by doing a little research and educating yourself on the issues. It really isn't hard to do, just takes a little effort, thereby saving yourself the embarrassment and everyone else the obligation to explain something to you for the 10th time. Oh, I see, that is the point, isn't it?

  • Gotalife (or is it Lostalife?), all of the above which your pal, Hillary, has voted against or campaigned against. So, what do you have to say about that? Is that $28.00 your idea of an 'energy policy'? Really?

Why don't you just wise up? It's basically over, even you can see that. So, are you just going to sit on the sidelines and gush out your little, small-minded, sarcastic crap for the next 4-9 years? What is the point? Do you really think you will sway anyone to your way of thinking? Do you really need the ego trip you obviously are on? Is that the most important thing to you, in the world? Quit it. Grow up. Be a person and a citizen. This isn't scrabble or T-ball and you are not 10 years old. I understand you are disappointed and even angry, but what is the point of your constant, sarcastic comments? Please, pray tell.

  • I believe she and Bill want to stay in the race until she is asked to leave or forced out so they have an excuse to run out and start an Independent run for President, ala Joe Lieberman. After all, Hillary was his most ardent supporter against the legitimate Democratic nominee, Ned Lamont. Nobody mentions that fact, and it was the first real eye-opener that she is more of a Republican than a Democrat. This 'populist' bag of hers is a new, just-to-get-elected idea.

If she does run as an Independent, she will 'split' the party and not win, but she will probably keep Obama from winning, or that would be her basic agenda. Then, she is free to come back and challenge McCain in 2012.

    Just my idea...

  • Fellow Democrats, now is the time for us to bury all hatchets and try our best to come together. I realize it is hard for Clinton supporters to accept this in the face of their unfailing support for their candidate. I would feel the same if Obama had lost. But, we are all Democrats and there is a general election waiting for us. We must defeat McCain in November. Isn't that the reason for the record turnouts in all the primaries and caucuses? This country and our Constitution cannot withstand another Bush term. The MSM will begin their attacks on Obama TODAY. Here comes Reverend Wright again, Ayers, Rezko and all the rest of it. (Please Hillary supporters, don't start with "I told you so", because it would be the same 'politics of destruction' from them if she had won, believe me).

We must unite behind the Democratic nominee and stop the nonsense of trying to cut our noses off to spite our faces. We must remain vigilent and DEMAND the main stream media coverage to be truly 'fair and balanced' and not one-sided as it has shown itself to be in these primaries. We also need to let it be known, loud and clear, that we will NOT stand idly by while this election is, again STOLEN from us, like the last two. That we will NOT STAND FOR IT!! We will not stand by while another Republican candidate is 'selected' by the Supreme Court! We are 'the people' the Constitution talks about and it is our government and not the sole government of the Republicans or of the Corporations.
If Barack Obama's government is a fraud, as many Clinton supporters have alleged (I certainly do not think so), I will be the first to stand up and point that out. But, he is our best HOPE to change the politics we now have. I just want my country back. I am sick of being lied to; I am sick of being spied on'; I am sick of being a citizen responsible to the world for the utter incompetancy of the leaders of our country; I am tired of living in fear of our OWN government. Please, let's come together and try to straighten out the mess that has been created in the last eight years! It is our last and best HOPE!

  • Here is what I think, my own opinion. I think the media and the right wing flak machine and the Hillaryites are out to totally destroy Obama. The right wing wants to run against hillary, the media is owned by the right wing, and hillary and Bill (notice how we all address her campaign as "they, them, Bill and hill"?), want to annihilate him. Bill and hill have always "flattened" their competition. They have a 'take no prisoners' mentality.

But, I think that Obama's supporters are still with him. I think the vast majority of remaining voters have already made up their minds and they aren't going to change them. Some, but not most. People do not forget 'hope' and 'inspiration' that easily! When we see the polls and hear the "guilt by association" crap on teevee, it is just the right wing media and polls can be slanted easily.

I think Obama is going to win this, in spite of these character assasinations. But, don't think Bill and hill will be going anywhere. Remember, when Ned Lamont beat Joe Lieberman and he immediately came out and ran as an Independent? Do you remember who was one of his most ardent supporters against the fairly and honestly elected Democratic nominee, Ned Lamont? hillary clinton. I see her and Bill doing the same thing, which will split the party (the same way Ross Perot split the Republican party and gave the nomination to Bill Clinton). They don't EVER quit, and they will not go away.

Just my opinion. By the way I am a 60 year old white woman and I am for Obama all the way!!

  • Good God, why would you apologize? They are behind so many lying, dirty, underhanded tricks , it would take a million years to sort them all out!

Look, everyone, use your common sense, this has the Clinton's fingerprints all over it. This "fair and balanced" media spin has turned all of us into non-thinking robots! We all have to have "proof" for everything (supposedly), even if real "proof" is staring us in the face! When you take the main players in this group, lumped together with the lies by the dozens (which she also didn't think she would get caught in), the nasty, dirty smears, the releasing of pictures and information secretly sent to right wing organizations, the snide racist comments, the Press Club 'inviting' Reverend Wright to speak (arranged by a Hillary supporter) the continual moving of the goalposts to the path to the nomination and the clinton's record of 'obliterating' their opposition, well, I think it is reasonable and even PROBABLE that they are behind this little voter suppression scheme. ANYTHING to win!!

  • Just read this morning where New Jersey, which clinton won in February, new polls are showing that they would now go for Obama with something like a 10 point lead.

I guess the real answer to your "so much for the will of the people" comment is: People can WAKE UP, think for themselves and change their minds.

Actually, from what I am hearing, many early voters who went for hillary before Obama came on the scene in CALIFORNIA wish they could take their votes back also!
