  • I watched and it made me sick to my stomach. I forced myself to do it. I kept thinking, this must be how people accused of witchcraft felt before they were burned at the stake. The bloodlust in the eyes of these people was amazing. I forced myself to watch clips of it again, and it really reminded me more of "Mean Girls." I kept asking myself, "did a man really write this speech?" It was the most snarky, petty, nasty speech I have ever seen an adult woman give. Even her her high school hairstyle, and the way she seemed to stiffen her chin, like she was extremely pleased with herself. Seems like she never grew up, and the writer never came out. A disgusting combination!

  • If these answers are true, then going under oath should not be a problem. Secondly, what the hell is Lamar Smith doing? Since when is he the conduit for Karl's lies? Guess they must have wiretapped Smith too. You get a lot of people covering your ass when they have the goods on you!

  • It's called warrantless wiretaps on members of congress... This scandal war, profiteering. complete destruction of the constitution could not happen unless blackmail on a scale so large and white that it will blow your mind. They have tampered with elections to help get them there, and then...the wiretapping started. They blackmailed the leadership until signing off on these insane policies, and it went on from there...Blackmail.Period.

  • I agree with Osage and Mary2002, I wouldn't give those people a damn thing. This justice department is still tainted and corrupted by Rovian policies, and he probably is still in contact with these criminals. Just last night in the headlines, you had the AP DC chief having a cozy email relationship with Rove. Now do you really think Rove isn't cozy with the criminal enterprise that he set up in Justice? Give them NOTHING!

  • NBC dropped a little news blip this morning that Conyer's wife has been caught on tape accepting a bribe according to "officials." I believe Mrs. Conyers an elected official herself has been beating the drums for impeachment in Michigan. I find it really curious that suddenly, Mrs.Conyers is being accused of accepting a bribe at the same time that Rove's ass is in a sling. Let's also remember that Rove and company have a foothold in Justice. Warrantless wiretapping anyone?

  • How in the world could anyone with a brain go for Coleman over Franken? Why would people reward any republican, especially a cheap opportunist like Coleman who sucked up to the republicans when it was popular to be a republican, and now looks like he is trying to nuance all of his positions to fit in with the mood of the country now? I agree with "mikestand." I wouldn't give a republican anything but a one way ticket out of D.C. They are corrupt to the core, and until we find out how the Justice Department has been corrupted, and we find out other things that Coleman and his pals have rubber stamped, we need every Democratic vote in congress that we can get!

  • Start pulling the Siegelman/Rove thread and the whole sweater of Justice Department corruption will start to unravel. Underneath all of the threads will be the skeletal remains of what we once called "The United States Constitution." People will start singing like the chorus at the Metropolitan Opera in order to save their own asses. Start the overture!
