In addition to this corruption problem, our Border Patrol agents will soon become agents of the Corporate Media providers, checking your iPod, laptop and cell phone for content that cannot be proven to be owned by you (e.g., you must show actual CD or DVD media to prove ownership when you cross a border). • Wait til we get past the Primary hoo hah ...

I for one will do all in my power to help elect a Democrat to the NC Senate seat now held by Senator Dole.

I will canvass whereever needed, contribute money, drive people to the polls, whatever it takes!

  • Amen, my tokin librul brother! Johnson sure sounds contemptuous to me, refusing to answer, yet explicitly not exerting executive privilege. Can someone explain "legally" why Johnson is not in contempt?

  • I simply can NOT wait for an actual presidential debate. One of those Abe Lincoln style debates that Senator Clinton wanted to do with Senator Obama would be heavenly!

  • I was born in NC, grew up in East Tennessee, and now live in the suburbs of Raleigh. Like my Momma and my Daddy, I am a Yellow Dog Democrat. I'm leaving now to cast my primary vote for Barack Obama, because Hillary Clinton has made herself indistinguishable from John McCain on so many levels, but mainly that pure idiocy of a "Gas Tax Holiday." I hope her staff see this and know this is at least partially the reason she is losing in NC.

  • I just thought to myself, and wanted to share ... if HRC steals the Democratic nomination, I will write in for Barack Obama ... I wonder if he would run as an Independent. It would make a very interesting race!

  • Playing just a bit of the Devil's Advocate, in reply to your comment "Who's going to vote for Bush III?" I say, who will vote AGAINST "Clinton 2?" isn't it really really obvious that Rush is pushing for Hillary because he knows the Republican base will dig up their dead to vote against her?

  • I agree! I have this fantasy where either Clinton or Obama wins the nomination, and the other one dedicates the rest of the campaign season to unifying the party with the winner. In that case, if you take each nominee's "flip states" and make them all blue ... how's that add up?

The point is to get a Democrat in the White House!
