  • Its the old fratricide again is it?

When the best idea of the corporate dems is more of the same, and off the table and lets not hold anyone accountable because well, they might have something on us too?

Is that what they presume to undercut the thoroughly unprecedented success in REAL GRASS ROOTS.

If any of your corporate democrats care to understand something about grassroots organizing - take a look at how MOVEON discovers its next agenda. Imagine that - it actually asks activists?

GEEZ, now I'm not talking about kind of mimicing the MoveOn web tactics, with that weak tea the BIG "D" corporate dems are serving.

Come on and drink some of the stuff we on the street corners, and livingrooms of MoveOn have been cooking. And the webtools MoveOn has pioneered are so effective Corporate Dems are'nt even smart enough to steal... So talk about something you know or at elast pretend to understand. Serving a little more of the status quo. Meanwhile we MoveOn activists will do the real organizing - MoveOn is justifiably proud, and you know what the ideas of the ACTIVISTS are ON THE TABLE - get a clue - or at least pay us the complement of copying us a little more thoroughly.

  • So former AG Ashcroft and Rep Issa are comfortable comparing hospital treatment with torture, we don't withhold food for a week, or stick our detainees with needles, we don't do that do we - wink wink

Such moral rectitude, by Ashcroft, while he's prepared to say, the rules are different after we were attacked. Does that excuse any country that is attacked say, like Iraq - are they equally excused from observing Geneva Conventions as well?

Or is it just American Exceptionalism that the Laws of Civilized Society are for every other country - but us, only when it's convenient.

Does he view his Bible's guidelines as equally flexibility since 9/11.

Let's rebuild the Constitutional Government, one indictment at a time.

"Well, Louis, this could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship" honestly - Is there a place for partisans on the News page.

  • I heard a snippet of Scalia's Sunday opinion-ating. And when he wouldnot define TORTURE as cruel and unusual punishment?

He was asked my the Psuedo Reporter... How is TORTURE, not Cruel and Unusual Punishment. He said, well it's easy When you are trying to get someone to talk - it's not punishment, your just trying to get them to talk. It's not punishment.

    Evidently it's not UNUSUAL either.

I hope, hope, hope... that it doesn't take CONGRESS to exorcise these demonic spirits from what used to be the White House and the Executive Offices. AND Cheney, that old outrage says the Vice President, doesn't answer to Congress?

What kind of government does he think he's in?
I know how he acts, he's the government representative for the Oil Interests and the national resource abusers. And they have served them well.

Let's hope they will leave something... If we can get them out

  • I called Reyes;s office, they said, we're trying to be "more flexible" than the Republicans.

His representative suggested (3 times) Well, if the president comes, to you and asks for information, we have to allow, I mean, wouldn't you - I replied, we have laws and procedures to do these things lawfully. If the laws on privacy had been observed, there would be no need for Immunity.

I said, do you mean, flexible about when we are permitted "Congressional Oversight?" Does the Congressman have a position on the Executive branch ignoring Congressional Subpeonas? Not that he knew of. I reminded him, the framers, installed Congressional Oversight for a reason and that we abandon it at our peril.

  • Thats it precisely.
There is no need for immunity if the law had been followed. The Immunity is exactly for the Administration.

While the spokes models for continued lawlessness keep repeating the mantra that the FISA Law is OLD, they always neglect that it has been updated over thirty times.

If we can't depend on Congress fellow patriots, and we can depend on Democrats or the Media - we are the only thing that still emains to oppose complete and utter lawlessness on the part of this or any other future executive branch. If we ever have an elected executive again.

  • Its not really TELCOM IMMUNITY, Its a get outta jail pass for those in the Administration, who want to do their BLACK BAG WORK, and their Carnivore vacuuming of our telcom infrastructure, without any Oversight, from the Congressional branch of the people's government.

The judicial branch has already be Scalia-sized, or Roberts'ed - I meant neutralized.
