I'm gonna have a lot of respect for Conyers if he follows through on this. Wouldn't it be delicious if Rove started the fall of the house of cards? If he was the first of the criminals jailed?

Thanks, Maggie, for your input. The best is always getting it from someone "up close and personal!" BTW, from your mouth to God's ears in November!

This is a "joke," right? Either that or I have just uncovered the second stupidest man on the face of the earth. Well, maybe the first. Where do rabid thoughtless folks like these end up?

Finally gave in to the urge and visited today.
Sure would love to see madam's list become public. I bet she's gonna be a rich woman. Payoff time.Posted at April 15, 2008 3:22 PM in response to Breaking: Jury Finds D.C. Madam Guilty on All Counts

BTW,
Campaign idea: BE AFRAID, BE VERY AFRAID... AFRAID YOU WILL LOSE. Lose your infrastructure, your school system, your social security benefits (currently being borrowed to assist in paying the 2 1/2 billion a week spent in Iraq), your job as we sink deeper and deeper into the mire, your privacy,etc... The list of possibilities is long, but just like my home budget, if this nation keeps dropping its income down a big black hole, we will get the luxury of understanding how the Iraqis feel, minus the bombs. Ha! And the repugs are worried about our false pride. (They are still lamenting our "losing" in Vietnam.)

Hi Carly.
Just got back from Sikeston, MO. The good news, heard a couple intelligent voices. Bad news, most are so prejudiced they will destroy their own chance of wellbeing rather than examine their attitudes. Crazy, isn't it?Posted at March 26, 2008 11:13 AM in response to Today's Must Read

Isn't it curious that they only "discovered" that all three candidates' files had been violated days after they were exposed on the Obama files? Part of me laughs. What were they expecting to find? That Obama had...what?! Gone to Kenya and visited? Gone to Russia and been sworn in as a commie? Gone to someplace with a mosque, thus proving he was a muslim??? Curriouser still, the offenders seem to have mysteriously faded into the woodwork.

Among the things I love about Obama, his incredible ability to speak and explain. Remember Kennedy after the Bay of Pigs? He addressed the American people, said I screwed up. We loved him for his honesty. Intelligent Americans know mistakes can be made. They simply want their leaders to treat them to the respect of straight answers. Once again, he leads.
