Karl Rove: architect of the current Republican minority.
Of all the neocons, MC Rove is far and away the most nervous right now. Because his brainchild, the Republican majority, is wilting. Rapidly. And he's burdened with the difficult task of getting John McCain elected to the highest...more »

McCain. Experience, strength and determination to lead us in the wrong direction.
A spokesman for the McCain campaign said that Obama doesn't have the "strength, judgment and determination to keep America safe." Without judgment, strength and determination can lead a country in the wrong direction. The Bush administration is a case in...more »

Papa John willing to say anything to get elected.
He flips. He flops. He changes positions on issues so rapidly it's hard to capture him on camera without a motion blur. This morning, he cut 87 years off his proposed 100 year occupation of Iraq. His new date certain...more »

Earth to the Obama campaign: just winning isn't enough.
I had hoped the party would stick with the rules. I thought that the best way to answer Hillary's negative attacks was to simply win. And I applaud your efforts for doing just that. But your party is enabling the...more »

Please email John Boehner and ask that he refrain from lying about Barack
Josh just posted about this. Essentially, John Boehner took Obama way out of context regarding a statement he made about Israel. http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2008/05/house-republica.htmlGuys like Boehner get away with this because no one ever calls them on it. They count on that....more »

Hillary fights harder on the campaign trail than she does on the Senate floor.
In her years as a Senator, I've never seen Hillary really fight for a piece of legislation as defiantly as she fights for her own ambitions. I've never seen her spearhead a strong coalition on a much contested bill. The...more »

"ANWR is the bridge to our energy future" says the Alaskan senator.
I was just listening to Sen. Murkowski, from Alaska, speak on the Senate floor in support of drilling for oil in ANWR, the Arctic National Wildlife Reserve. "ANWR is a bridge to our energy future" she says. I always get nervous...more »

Who will the next President work for?
I've just watched Sen. Clinton's newest commercial in West Virginia. In it she says it's time to level the playing field against special interests. Now as I understand it, she accepts more money from corporate lobbyists and special interest groups...more »

It's so hard to compare the Obama/Clinton debates with what will be the Obama/McCain debates.
John McCain is on the wrong side of every issue. He's only one talking point deep. And his true colors showed when he turned arrogant and cynical debating Romney.

The will of the people was not accurately represented in these elections, so it can't be represented in full.
It's not fair to the voters who chose to follow the rules, it's not fair to the candidate that followed the rules and it's not fair to the other states that followed the rules.

Thanks for letting us know you took the time to write your own email to the DNC.
What Hillary fails to tell her supporters is that she signed the four-state agreement, meaning she pledged to not campaign or participate in any state primary that was pushed up earlier than the first four states. She knew ahead of time that any state that failed to follow the DNC schedule would be stripped of its delegates.

Your #10 reason, that Richardson stood up to the Clintons and endorsed Obama goes a long way in my book. I wish more in the party had the backbone to do that.

Today, she's asked her supporters to launch what is essentially an email assault on the DNC about seating MI and FL in full.
Didn't they already concede the nomination by saying they won't catch up to Obama's delegate lead?

yeah, he's inconsistent with these things. But I don't expect perfection from anyone.
I do think that when he's had a chance to develop a response to something Bush or McCain says, it should be concise and powerful, not lengthy. Sometimes these things can be put to rest with one simple but powerful comment.
Also, if you're pointing out someone's hypocrisy, you don't call them hypocritical. You drive home what constitutes the hypocrisy.

A last minute attempt to butter up the party to overturn the delegate count?
Or has she kicked off her candidacy for VP?

If elected, McCain is still promising to hunt down Osama Bin Laden vowing to "follow him to the gates of hell."
If he feels this passionately about capturing Bin Laden, why has he done nothing to focus on that in the last eight years? Why didn't he stand up as a Senator and force the issue?
And do we really want another Commander In Chief blatantly lying?
