
The FBI today released its files on the late Ted Kennedy -- over 2,200 pages in all and covering such areas as death threats against the senator, J. Edgar Hoover's interest in Kennedy's meeting with leftists abroad, and Chappaquiddick (though the FBI was actually not involved in investigating the case).

PERMALINK | COMMENTS (12) | RECOMMEND RECOMMEND (6)Former Ted Kennedy office manager Ngozi Pole has been charged with stealing $75,000 by submitting false salary paperwork to the Senate Disbursing Office, the Justice Department announced this afternoon.
Between 2003 and 2007, Pole, who is being charged with theft of government property and five wire fraud counts, allegedly received bonus and salary payments that had not been authorized by Kennedy or his chief of staff.
