Apparently there's a lot of potential overlap between football fans and birthers, because the birther-tastic site WorldNetDaily took out an aerial ad asking "Where's the real birth certificate?" at a Cowboys-Giants game on Sunday.

On his promotional tour touting his new book, he customizes the message depending on the crowd. Speaking at his World Net Daily book party? He'll crack wise about the "bolsheviks" at MSNBC. Speaking on MSNBC? He'll have a go-to quote about what he calls Newt Gingrich's corruption.
PERMALINK | COMMENTS | RECOMMEND RECOMMEND (0)The birther website World Net Daily might have gotten the publishing rights to Jack Abramoff's forthcoming memoir, but Tucker Carlson's Daily Caller gets to host the book party.
Invites are out for a Nov. 15 event at Carlson's D.C. home, where they'll toast Abramoff's new book: Capitol Punishment: The Hard Truth About Washington Corruption From America's Most Notorious Lobbyist, which drops Nov. 1.

The Justice Department wants WorldNetDaily books -- the publisher of both Jack Abramoff's memoir and "Where's the Birth Certificate? The Case that Barack Obama is not Eligible to be President" -- to turn over any money it owes former lobbyist Abramoff.

The Boy Scouts of America welcomes major religions, including Islam. It has incorporated under its banner a group called the National Islamic Committee on Scouting, or NICS, which provides Muslim scouts an opportunity to earn badges or emblems by participating in religious activities. Disgraced former lobbyist Jack Abramoff has a forthcoming memoir intended to serve as a "corrective" to his "wildly misunderstood" story. The publisher? The infamous "birther" website World Net Daily.
"Capitol Punishment: The Hard Truth About Washington from America's Most Notorious Lobbyist" is set to be published on Nov. 1, according to WND.

Infamous Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio does -- which is why he announced a five-person "Cold Case Posse" that will delve into the issue of President Obama's birth certificate.
The posse follows a request by the Surprise, Arizona Tea Party, who Arpaio met with on August 17. The Surprise Tea Party believes that the long-form birth certificate released by President Obama in April -- which put the issue to rest for pretty much everyone -- could be a forgery.

PERMALINK | COMMENTS | RECOMMEND RECOMMEND (0)A new anti-abortion movie called "Gates Of Hell" envisions a world where the government outlaws abortion because a group of black terrorists begins murdering abortion doctors.
Molotov Mitchell, a contributor for World Net Daily who produced the film, said in a promotion that "this film could do more damage to the abortion industry than anything we've seen. 'Gates of Hell' raises questions about Planned Parenthood's racist history in a way that's never been done before."
"But best of all, it casts a vision of what a post-abortion America could look like," he said.

You deserve a break from it all, a summer vacation -- but where to go? If you're Joe Miller, how about a few days on a boat with a bunch of birthers cruising around Alaska?
"ENLIST NOW," the cruise's site says, "to be on board with the most freedom-embracing and liberty-loving navy at sea: the WND Navy and the Tea Party at Sea!"
PERMALINK | COMMENTS | RECOMMEND RECOMMEND (0)For the right-wing, it's not much of a leap to go from "President Obama is a secret Muslim" to "President Obama is secretly in league with the Muslim Brotherhood." And in the wake of protests in Egypt, leap they did.
PERMALINK | COMMENTS | RECOMMEND RECOMMEND (3)The good news is that the right-wing isn't talking about President Obama being a secret Muslim right now. The bad news is that they're now concerned that he's going to use his honorary status as a Crow Tribe Indian to return the United States to Native Americans.

World Net Daily was kind enough to send a review copy of the book, which author Brad O'Leary says he wrote because President Barack Obama "declared that America is not a Christian nation."

Sue Myrick (R-NC) at an emotional town hall meeting in Charlotte Thursday, with Myrick scrambling to distance herself from the Islam-bashing co-author of the book Muslim Mafia, whose foreword was written by the congresswoman herself.
Myrick has had a tense relationship with her district's Muslim community for many years, but it's been aggravated recently by her campaign to investigate undercover Muslim intern "spies" on Capitol Hill.
PERMALINK | COMMENTS | RECOMMEND RECOMMEND (8)The head of the company that published Muslim Mafia says that the Council on American Islamic Relations is engaging in "economic terrorism" against the book's cash-strapped author, who can't afford to fight CAIR in court.
The comments by Joseph Farah, editor and CEO of WorldNetDaily, parent company of WND Books, are buried in a profile of Martin Garbus, one of the lawyers defending Muslim Mafia author Dave Gaubatz, and his son, Chris, who went undercover as an intern at CAIR.
In response to Gaubatz's decision to accede to CAIR's demand that he return thousands of pages of documents and electronic files taken by Chris Gaubatz, Farah said:

Four House Republicans are charging that the Council on American Islamic Relations is infiltrating Capitol Hill with undercover interns, and they're basing the charge on a WND-published book that itself is based on the work of a man who posed as a Muslim to infiltrate CAIR as ... an intern!
In other words, it's Intern Spy vs. Intern Spy.
As Greg Sargent notes, the office of Rep. Sue Myrick (R-NC) does not have a list of the "Manchurian Interns" that she claims may have penetrated national security-related committees.
